Digital Mail Limited, formed in 1991, is developing and providing innovative Telecommunications services and solutions through partner programmes, within the UK.
We are dynamic in our approach and we continue to grow as a result of ongoing business development and success.

The opportunity

We are seeking to grow a team of product specialists to tame and repackage key business applications ("BizApps") with a focus on FOSS for use by small businesses. These include the following:

  • CRM (eg Sugar)
  • Email/Diary (eg Zimbra)
  • Ticket management (eg Kayako)
  • PABX (eg Asterisk)
  • More to be added....

We are looking for talented and ambitious individuals to pioneer these BizApps within the company and then take them to our user base with support in the form of off-the-shelf configurations, mentoring and consultancy.

An important part of what we're doing is making these applications work together so that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts - eg a support ticket in Kayako may include links to phone calls recorded on Asterisk and link to diary entries in Zimbra.

We are also building a community of users, consultants and resellers to create an ecosystem around these products providing feedback and building featuresets as required in the field.

Details

Our expertise in providing high quality and cost-effective Telecoms and CRM solutions is second to none and we now seek a CRM Applications Engineer to fully support a new range of CRM business applications that are shortly to be launched. You will also be responsible for installing the CRM system in-house and into key test sites for evaluation.

Successful applicants must have CRM applications support experience. Professional Linux and in-depth working knowledge of LAMP is also essential.

In addition to the above, we also seek experience in one or more of the following:

  • Customer Support / Customer Service in CRM / Software applications
  • Strong PC Skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Programming languages including - PHP, JavaScript and SQL
  • LAMP
  • FOSS
  • mySQL
  • SugarCRM or similar
  • Linux (eg use of command line, bash, network config, vi/emacs/nano)
  • Networking (eg IP config, Samba, WebServer setup, firewalls)

Starting salaries in the range £25k - £45k + bonus + a real career path awaits the successful candidates.

  • Living location within 1 hour commute of the City of London (Old Street is nearest Station)
  • CRM / Linux applications experience is essential.
  • Excellent communications skills, well educated.
  • Must be highly articulate in spoken and written English with mother-tongue clarity in high pressure situations - we will test on this!
  • Self-motivated, success driven, problem solver, ambitious and creative.
  • Able to demonstrate CRM application skills.
