About us
Digital Mail Limited is a rapidly growing telecommunications operator situated in the City, Old Street.
DML have bright people who are working on innovated ground breaking projects. We need someone to administer them, shepherding the successes to completion and alerting us to ones that won’t succeed. Our vision is to partner our large distribution base with technology suppliers to build our business.
We are looking for a highly organised individual to help run our purchase and sales ledgers as well as assisting in office management, PA and HR functions.
This position would be ideal for an experienced small company acounts administrator who would like to broaden their skills to progress his / her career path up the management chain (leading to a management role). We are supportive of Continuing Professional Development (e.g. courses such as CIMA, Birkbeck College, etc)

- Got about as far as you can go in accounts?
- Mature nature (doesn't necessarily mean that you must be old!)
- Accuracy and reliability is second nature

Composition:
50% Accounts- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Cash planning
- Bank reconciliation
- Payroll
- Meetings, assessment and plan revision
- High level management reporting
- Staff attendance/holiday/sick leave

- Key supplier/Partner management
- Staff entertainment/recreation
- Administrative assistance during recruitment projects

Skills / Experience
Accounts experience:
- At least 6 months experience of Sales/Purchase Ledger
- Ideally also capable of performing Bank Rec's
You are a good systems person:
- Highly numerate and articulate
- Power computer user
- Microsoft Excel formulae/functions/formatting/templates are easy (you will be tested on this)
- You are competent with Microsoft Word
- You can touch type to around 40 wpm
- You may well have created small Access (or similar) applications
- Internet Savvy (email, IM, etc)
IMPORTANT: You must have a valid work permit / visa. English must be your first language, and you must speak English fluently.
